ARP and RARP | networking ARP | RARP | ARP vs RARP


ARP & RARP
       Network Layer is responsible for host to host transmission  of packets using logical addressing.
       These packets are encapsulated in a frame and there comes the requirement of physical address, for node-to-node transmission.
        Sometimes requirement comes for booting a diskless  network or leasing an IP address to a host, then we need IP address from physical address.
Thus we need protocols to create a mapping between physical and logical addresses
